Forex trading journal: track pairs, sessions and mistakes
Forex journals need pair + session context (London / NY overlap), pip or R multiples, and a clean way to tag rule breaks. Spreadsheets can do it; they rarely stay accurate.
What forex traders usually log
- Pair, direction, entry/exit, size, stop, target
- Session and setup (ICT, SMC, breakout, mean reversion…)
- Rule breaks: moved stop, added to a loser, revenge trade after news
- Screenshot or note for the chart context
Where journals fail forex traders
Manual entry after every trade means the journal dies in a busy week. Formula sheets drift. Paid apps help but price out traders who are still proving consistency.
PnL Diary for forex
We are designing CSV import from common brokers/exporters, pair and session filters, and a mistake ledger that converts each tag into dollars lost. Join the waitlist if that is the journal you want.
